PROFIT and Canadian Business unveils 28th annual list of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies
Calgary, September 15, 2016 With impressive corporate growth, Rockwood Custom Homes has ranked on the annual PROFIT 500, placing 125th of 500 Canadian growth companies. Published in the October issue of Canadian Business and at PROFITguide.com, the 28th annual PROFIT 500 is the definitive listing of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies, ranking Canadian businesses by their five-year revenue growth.
Despite difficult economic conditions and a pronounced downturn in Calgary’s oil-based economy, Rockwood Custom Homes placed on the 2016 PROFIT 500 list with five-year revenue growth of 597%, ranking in the top quartile of Canadian growth leaders.
“Companies become a part of the PROFIT 500 through innovative thinking, smart strategy and sheer grit,” says James Cowan, Editor-in-chief of PROFIT and Canadian Business. “These firms demonstrate what Canadian entrepreneurs can achieve, both at home and across the globe.”
“Rockwood has experienced exponential growth in its six-plus years since inception. More remarkably, however, this considerable growth was all organic, achieved despite difficult market conditions, and came without the growing pains that often characterize double digit growth,” said Allison Grafton, Rockwood president and partner.
“We’re thankful for the recongition from PROFIT,” added Grainger Nimmo, partner of Rockwood Custom Homes,”but moreover, we are thankful to our staff who works tirelessly to support our efforts and to our clients, who continue to trust Rockwood as their luxury builder of choice.”
The PROFIT 500 recognition is one of more than 20 awards that Rockwood has received since 2013 and the company’s first PROFIT 500 recognition.
