Rockwood understood what we needed as a family and was able to take our wispy thoughts and ideas and turn them into practical and beautiful elements that now make our home shine.

Here’s what struck us about working with Rockwood Custom Homes. When building or renovating a home, we talk about colours and appliances and tiles and carpets and lights. We rarely talk about the two most important things when working with a builder: trust and integrity.

Our renovation project with Rockwood delivered not only a spectacular and beautiful renovation for our family but was done with the trust and integrity we were thrilled to discover still exists today. Throughout the entire process, we felt like Allison and Grainger were treating our home as if it were their own. In fact everyone working on our renovation seemed to share that attitude. From the contractors on site throughout the project to the trades people brought in to work on specific elements, it felt like we were being treated in a special fashion.

Despite the weather and the aggressive schedule for completion, our renovation was completed on time with the quality and craftsmanship we would have expected had we been paying a much higher price. Several times we were presented with ideas that more than met our needs and yet cost considerably less than other alternatives. Rockwood simply did what was right for us and our budget; and it all looks great. We were very comfortable with the design concepts presented–Rockwood understood what we needed as a family and was able to take our wispy thoughts and ideas and turn them into practical and beautiful elements that now make our home shine.

But in the end, it came down to trust and integrity. Without it, a renovation can be stressful, expensive and frustrating. Their integrity, matched with the trust earned through their actions, made our renovation experience an adventure we enjoyed and are now appreciating each and every day.
